Cannes Festival 2018: here is the official full program of the 71st edition

The Official Cannes Film Festival Poster 2018 is inspired by the film by French director Jean-Luc Godard Pierrot le fou with Jean-Paul Belmondo and Anna Karina

Pierre Lescure, The President of the Cannes Film Festival, and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate, presented the official selection for the 71st edition of the French film festival to be held from 8 to 19 May 2018. The jury that will award the most important prizes, including La Palma of gold, it will be chaired by actress Cate Blanchett. Here is the official list of films out of competition and those in competition. Among the latter there are also the Italian Dogman by Matteo Garrone and Lazzaro happy by Alice Rohrwacher (with Nicoletta Braschi). The organizers of the Cannes Film Festival ask Teheran to allow the arrival on the Croisette of Jafar Panahi, the director who is denied exit from Iran and selected in official competition with ‘Three faces’. Also featured in the list is a film by Spike Lee and one by Jean-Luc Godard.

Here is the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival 2018:
In competition, in the official competition, there will be two Italian films: Lazzaro felice by Alice Rohrwacher (with Nicoletta Braschi) and Dogman by Matteo Garrone (which has to do with the history of Canaro della Magliana. There will also be a Spike Lee film and one by Jean-Luc Godard The opening film of the 71st edition of the Cannes Film Festival will be Todos lo saben, directed by Asghar Farhadi, and Solo will also be presented during the Festival: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard: There will also be a special screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey, which has just turned fifty.
It has been pointed out that the selection is not in any case closed, and films in each category could be added in the coming days.
